The Story
The Caroma Urbane II Heated Towel Rail Horizontal in Polished Stainless Steel is a 304 stainless steel hardwired heated towel rail designed to add warmth, refined styling and everyday comfort to modern Australian bathrooms.
Constructed from 304 stainless steel and finished in a mirror-polish, this heated towel rail pairs the architectural minimalism of the Urbane II range with practical, energy-efficient warmth. The slim profile keeps towels dry and warm at a comfortable 40°C (±5°C at 22°C ambient), with a 15W output and 12V dry electric element for safe, low-running-cost operation. The IP55 rating makes it suitable for bathroom installation, and a fixing kit is supplied. Rails are sold individually — Caroma recommends installing 2-3 rails to optimise heating coverage.
Important: A transformer is required and sold separately (Caroma code 11225053T). One 72W transformer powers up to 3 rails. Hardwired installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician, with concealed right-hand-side wiring.
